Also, just in case the plastic Amazon brackets break or the drilled holes widen too much, I have used with good results the following for numerous plastic repairs such headlight tabs, bumper covers, etc.

Thanks for that. I actually am on the same thought and bought something very similar to strengthen up that hole. I'm sure you noticed the vulnerability in my pic like i did. It's not going anywhere now (hopefully).

The other speakers actually did have a bracket that fit.

Thanks again....

No worries brother, good knowing you got it all sorted out. However, if something does turn up and/or you change your mind, I'm more than happy to give you a piece of Starboard to try out.

Yo, I wanted to do the same thing in my 2010!!

What speakers are you using?

Are you upgrading the whole system?

I seen a lot of people in past used the 3 way focal 6.5" to replace all 3 front speakers.

I ordered a "tesla style" head unit to replace stock yellow screen nav system can't wait...

Oh man! It wasn't easy my friend. I plan on putting a post together of all the work i did to it in conjunction with the recall for the interior (including stereo). I also got the Tesla screen. LOVE IT!, But I have to tell you; I had major issues getting it installed. There's some VERY bad info on here. Also, I ended up going all JL Audio instead of Focal. Tell you what, lets talk and I can fill you in. If i can save you the serious headaches I had with this project, you will be very happy. Trust me.

PM me and we can exchange numbers.

Thx
