I am going to look at a 2016 LS 460 tomorrow. 1-owner, 45,000 miles, clean carfax, 35k asking price. White with flaxen. No ML.
I have read several threads here on things to look for and it seems that the year and mileage rule a lot of questionable items out. I am a mechanic and have no issues inspecting the car (brakes, tire wear etc), but just wondering if there are any tips or issues that I should look for on this model specifically. I will need to travel a little ways, and do not mind spending a little more for a quality car.
I hope to upgrade from my ES, and I am aware that it will cost more gas, insurance, brakes, and be a heavier car to drive.
Any helpful tips will be greatly appreciated.

It's typically just wear items with the '16s. If it has the air suspension, definitely check that out. Apart from that, it may need a battery, brakes, and tires.
If you sign up on https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/ you can enter the VIN and see what service records are out there.
