It seems newer Lexus cars have similar exterior but very different internally. I believe, new ES350 comes in AWD (optional?) and that is something I would like to have if I could afford it.
Most of the time I see the new ES350, I mistake it for the LS500. It definitely has some road presence. I can't believe it has nearly identical interior space as the LS500. I prefer the sport trim version if the ES350. Still waiting for Lexus to get back to normal looking front grills. At the rate they are going it's just going to be an all mesh or spindle front with lights behind it
While I'll agree, the ES looks sharp, I cannot forgive the clunky running gear that Lexus/Toyota decided to put in these cars. I've had 2 as loaners and the transmissions are so clunky it's almost unbearable in stop and go traffic.

Agree. Was planning to get a used LS460 and got sucked into a lease on a 2020 ES350 F Sport. Love the looks. Transmission is awful (among other dislikes I have). Lexus should be embarrassed.
Leasing the ES versus buying a used LS was the biggest car mistake I’ve ever made.
