Default Warning on new part!

My 2008 LS460 had minor cracking in rear driveshaft flex disc. Lexus does not offer just the disc. Searched and found a new part from Febest Auto Parts. They sell through their website and also Ebay.

DO NOT buy this part, it is junk. After about three thousand miles there was noise coming from the rear. The shop looked at it and couldn't believe the condition. Cracked everywhere...it could have been a disaster if the driveshaft came loose. Pics attached.

Alternatively, put the old one back in.

I'd look into a custom polyurethane option - make sure that you measure your original one. I (well, we all) wouldn't mind if you posted your measurements

Toyota does sell these for older cars - examples include pre-6-speed ls430, gs430, sc430 - basically anything pre-2003-ish. Same with driveshafts and lots of other things - parts started being sold as assemblies only, unfortunately. They're still quite pricey. Would be nice if we could get measurements for the different ones available.
