Default HELP with CIGARETTE BURNS?

When I bought my 460 the previous owner had dropped his cigarette a couple of times right on the carpet floor.

Deep burn holes, my car is an 07 with the silver exterior and the interior carpet is what looks like a light grey to me?

The only thing I can think of is to take a sharp knife and remove the blackened area and find a matching paint to hide this.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this, like maybe can I buy a small amount of the carpet color, etc?

Appreciate any ideas

Thank you

I can think of a few other options.

1. Cut a small piece from another inconspicuous area of the car.

2. cut a small section from a junk yard car

3. Ask around on ebay. Someone parting similar colors out may hook you up.

For me adhering the new piece without it standing out would be the tricky part.

My two suggestions would be to try to either cut and splice in a piece from up under the dash or something, or to paint the burn and glue fibers to it that you could pull from somewhere.

You say the carpet floor is where the damage is. Doesn't the floor mat cover it?

Google or Yelp "Automotive Interior Repair" in your area. Dealers use these
services regularly to recondition used cars for sale. Plenty of material under
the seats to cut and paste.
How does this smokers car smell?
