Non-OEM rotors for 2010 AWD
My front rotors were replaced less than an year ago with OEM parts, including pads. And just after 10k miles, there is vibration while braking. I inspected and serviced the front calipers and both seem to be in good shape. There is some pitting on the rotor surface as well. I read multiple posts stating that OEM rotors are poor quality. Did anybody find good non-OEM rotors that last longer than 1 year or/and 10k miles? Thanks!

On my 2010 LS460L RWD I went with the Centric rotors on both the front and rear along with Akebono ACT 1283 Pro-ACT Brake pads. I have about 38,000 miles on them now and have been very happy except that the Akebono pads squeal sometime in the morning when they are cold. I got the rotors from rockauto.

Non OEM Rotors and pads.
I had a similar problem. I switched to centric rotors with akebono ultra premium ceramic pads. Works great. No vibrations after 10k miles. I do this combo for all my Japanese cars.

After cleaning and lubricating the brakes, the vibration is somewhat gone unless I really step on it. I am going to wait and see if it gets worst.

My guess is that it will.

Replaced my '11 LS460 front & rear rotors and pads with Centric premiums about 15k miles ago and couldn't be happier. No problems whatsoever and overall smoother breaking. Much better than OEM.

Thanks, AWD uses larger front rotors than RWD unless with Sport package. Do you have an AWD version or RWD with Sport package?

Sorry man but I know how bad the OEM Rotors are. I got around 53,000 miles out of mine. Now my LS is RWD so maybe your AWD are better quality.
