Default LS 460 AWD front suspension repaired

2010 LS 460 AWD with 160k on the od. Took my car to my usual mechanic. I was told it needed all control arms replaced and the axle boots were throwing grease. Months passed, they never found parts. Tried another mech and he said boots were good and all but the lower rear control arm bushings where good. I had the work done. It took a couple extra days to get the job done. I didn't the extra time, since I had a free loaner, a fairly new Passat. That reminded me why I hate German cars. The mounting bolts were seized, had to be cut out and replaced. He assured be all was in good shape and that I would not have any problem. Now the bad or good news, my bill came to $2064.34. I was expecting replacing all control arms and axles. I feel I got off cheap.
