There was a thread about bushing replacement with Armstrong bushings involved. The bushings have failed quickly after replacement.

Thanks Anfanger and others who contributed! From what I realized. The Ls460 still has flaws in control arm area, maybe because mine is 2014 ? Or they were installed wrong from the factory?

My understanding was that the issue was resolved in 2013+. But it also depends on driving style. If you drive LS460 like a sport car those bushings are not going to live long due to the vehicle weight.

Default 2007 lexus ls460l w/air, front drivers side (left) both upper control arm location.


I've attached a pic of the correct location of both control arms in my 2007 RWD LS460L. Obviously those of you with an LS460 will have coil springs instead of air bags like in the picture. Hope this helps anyone confused.
