Hey guys my LS is just I don't know seems like a second wife. After interior and ac issue now it is giving problem with the headlight hid I mean low light d4s.

So first my left light went off I turn off the light and switch it on it works for few minutes and then goes out again then my right side did the same.

I went to local store they changed the low light bulb(hid)

They worked for few minutes and then again the left one goes out. I have switch the lights off and turns them back on they work fine for like 5 to 10mints

The shop guy changed till now I guess 10 bulbs or hids but all of them are same works for few mints and then no light

Any help am clueless as to why... Car is 138k miles and 2008 model

If you touch the bulb, your body/finger oils will overheat and destroy bulb. HID lights have a ballast/power source that can require repair or replacement.

Well thats true that the oil from fingers can damage and burn the d4s but hes mentioned thaththey only work for few minutes everytimr he switch on and off . I would suggest you get a second hand hid ballast that you can find for 60/80 aed used wide range of cars have the same ballast so it wont be a problem
