What is the recommended mileage before changing the synthetic motor oil in 2007 LS 460L?

I believe, oil change interval recommended by Lexus is 5k miles. You probably can go further (10-12k) but I would use a high quality synthetic oil (other than Toyota/Lexus) and change the oil filter every 5k miles.

Every 5k or once a year, what ever comes first. You can't change the oil too often, but you can go too long w/o doing so. Oil changes are cheap compared to the cost of internal engine repairs.

I use full synthetic oil in my '10 LS460 changing the oil about every 8000 miles.

The manual for the 2007 model reads every 6 months or 5000 miles. I would definitely disregard the 6 month interval and go with the 5000 miles.

As far as I am aware older LS460s were never approved for extended oil change intervals.

Canadian manual says 10,000km / 6,200mi which is decent enough for me.

I’d stick with 5,000 mile intervals.
