I have released the hold on the car at CarMax, so if anyone wants a shot at a nicely maintained, low-ish miles LS 600h L, it should be available. Currently located in San Diego.

Hi,
I bought my 2008 600hL-RSR in March at 48K miles. I'm delighted with it. I get 31 mpg (but gallons are bigger in the UK). It's quick in mid-range where you need it, but the RSR is 2.7 tons, but I didn't buy a Lexus to be a hooligan. I see little point in the Sport mode as it defeats the object of the car. Comfort is just too soft and wallowy for me, but maybe to American's taste.
There are no guarantees with anything this age, but take your time and buy the best you can afford. I also have a 1978 Rolls Royce, the Lexus makes it feel and drive like an antique
By the way, my wife has a VW iD4, bought new in May which is also fabulous. Not a Tesla, but plenty quick enough for real life. We are a very happy family as far as cars go right now.
