Question 2007 LS460 Bluetooth

My previous vehicle was a 2014 Santa Fe, and it would automatically connect the Bluetooth on my phone to the Bluetooth in my car each time I started the engine (after the initial pairing of course). Now with my 2007 LS460 I have to reconnect my phone each time I start the car? Is this right? I just want to be sure this is how it is supposed to work.

No, it should absolutely remember your phone between drives. Check the settings in the car and on your phone.

2007 LS460 here as well. Once you register and connect your phone within the Phone/Bluetooth Manager screen, be sure to enable "Auto Connect".

You can add a small Bluetooth unit to your car but you will probably need to turn it on each time you start your car. You can find them in electronics or Amazon.

I understand that the 2007 has no Bluetooth for music. I am wanting to connect the Bluetooth on my phone to the Bluetooth in the car so I can talk over speaker hands-free.

This just happened to me on my 2013 LS 460, and I deleted my phone out the navigation system and put it back in. This was after almost 4 years of it connecting flawlessly. Anything dealing with electronics gonna give you issues every once in awhile.

First rule of electronics, reboot. Next is uninstall, then reinstall.
