I love the Pirelli P7 All season plus 2 on my LS430. Extremely quiet, smooth ride and did great in snow. a week ago in Maryland we had a bad snow day, and I was just simply coasting through thick snow, going up hill and on the highway where nothing was plowed and all of the other other cars were struggling. I highly recommend them

Took your advice and put on a set of P7+2. The difference is really noticeable. I also put on a peddle commander. That made my LS460L a completely different car.

sorry guys had to EDIT my orginal post regarding the michelin energy MXV4's, once I changed my front lower forward control arms, (ball joint was shot) the loud road nose went away

never knew they could cause that, the tires are actually very good

I have nokian "Tyres one" on my 2013 LS AWD, almost a year now. Been through a few snowfalls with them and they do really well in the snow and good in regular weather, no complaints about them so far and they cost less than the Michelins I had before. I specifically wanted decent snow performance and these do well.

They are very good tires, but they don't make them anymore.

I now have about 6,000 miles on my 19" Cross Climate 2 tires. In heavy rain, my 460L RWD (w/ air) has handled with sure-footedness. It has felt the same way when driving in the snow -- only a couple of snow storms in the Boston area thus far this winter. Handling, and sound seem terrific to me (e.g., there is a turnpike exit with a decent turn that I often head into at 40-50mph without braking, and the vehicle sticks to the road like a champ). I don't really notice sound from the tires, or much sound at all for that matter, when driving. However, having not been in others' cars much over the past few months, it is hard for me to make comparisons to other tire brands, or models. I'd buy these tires again without hesitation. Of course at this juncture I can't say much about longevity. Although, I remain curious to experience the Pirelli's.

My crossclimate+s are wearing right on schedule to meet warranty, and that's with a good amount of very high speed driving (100-140) that wears on them faster. The 2s are upgraded and should last longer

Default Am I the only Hankook fan?

Love performance, price, ride, and longevity of the S1 Nobel2 I have these on a VW CC, INFINITI Q 50 and my LS. Hopefully at the pricepoint you too will love these. I'd put them on my FJ if I could lol. I always go wider and on my wife's car choose a shorter tire do to her speeding all the time. What she doesn't know is she's going 5 less than the speedo says! I know call me evil but she hasn't had a ticket in a while!

I have no experience with Hankook tires. I know they are coming OEM on a lot of cars, including the new S Class.

Uh........do you realize how often I hit 100+? Twice today alone, my 430 has been over 150. My 460 is actually the slowest since it still has its limiter

Eh, they take it well for the most part. Everyone does something risky in life for a thrill, for me I like driving cars to their ability
