2016 LS460L Driver Side Nike Light
Hi everyone.
First, an apology if this very issue is addressed elsewhere in this wonderful forum. I did a fair amount of due diligence and was unable to find the answer.
I recently picked up a 2015 LS460L AWD w/ 80k miles. This is my first car and I am in love with it. I have a 6' tall and growing teenager, and he feels like a prince in the backset with all that legroom.
I noticed this morning that the driver side Nike light (I think that's what everyone calls them?) appears to have one of the bulbs not illuminating.
I have posted two photos below with blue circles noting the difference.
The driver side Nike is not completely dark, there is at least one other bulb lit, so it is partially illuminated, but not fully.
Are these serviceable or are they molded into the light assembly in such a way that the whole thing has to be replaced?
Thank you in advance for your comments.

LEDs. Non serviceable sadly.

I know _of_ people, whom at least managed to separate the lens (warm air or something). Not sure if leds are easily accessible/replaceable but I guess it's possible.

Thank you. It's pretty annoying to me. I turned the DRL's off in the navi menu but looks like the swoosh illuminates when the lights come on at night.

Sarah-n- tuned on YouTube has a video about putting a headlamp in an oven to soften adhesive. But it's not a Lexus. At least you will have an idea of how to do it. Next step is remove headlight to see if it has similar adhesive construction. You say this really bothers you, so if you get it out and can't repair it, at least you've tried. A used headlight is another affordable option. Chances are you'll find some 2016 lights in good condition.

Yes, that's beyond annoying. Agreed. I think my approach would be to find some info/hands on exp on removing lens, then obtaining some used (perhaps japanese) headlight, then swapping projectors or, if swoosh is detachable, swapping only that to your hl.
I'll get to office soon, will check if 12+ fsm got any info on hl disasm.
Add: oh my, you may be way lucky. PM me for fsm page! It looks EASY!!! And swoosh IS detachable!

Like most automotive headlights, screws out and baking the entire assembly should heat the adhesive sealant and let you into the housing. No other way unfortunately.

I just replaced the broken headlight on my 19 Ford Expedition with another used one from Ebay. My front headlight was hit by rocks and it caused heavy condensation. You need remove all the screws from the headlight assembly and put it in the oven, set the temp to 250 F for 10 minutes, wear mitten or extra thick gloves since it's hot. Use your hands to pry or separate the front from the assembly. Do not use flat screw drivers or you will damage the tabs. I use plastic tool and was able to separate the front without any effort. Clean up the heated adhesive and make sure it stays in the grove channel since you need to reheat it again later.

Hi there, I'm also having the exact issue on the passenger side. Let me know how you resolved this issue.
Side note, I was researching and it seems many custom headlight specialists are able to mod the "Nike" DRLs directly and currently contemplating whether to go for it. Here are some of the showcases:
Not keen to go through this route but if you found something else, please do share.
