Default Need new tail light

The taillight right under the finger is out. Can someone tell me what I need to replace it and possibly how to do it? My car failed inspection because of this. What a waste of time!

I don't understand how that failed since it's a redundant light, the outer light performs all needed functions. That's an LED light so the whole thing will need to be replaced

As striker indicated, the LEDs are integrated into the housing assembly. Part# 81591-50150, relatively inexpensive used on ebay at $40-60 and $250ish new dealer parts sources.
Have you checked if maybe the connector became detached? Does the reverse light on that part work?

I asked wife to take a photo and she does that. LOL

I need her to get in the car and let me see what's going on.

The inspection place did say I had an LED out and they did not have that part in stock.

The LED lights aren't replaceable as they are soldered into a circuitboard. The entire plastic assembly is sealed. It's not easy/practical to try to open it up and replace tiny LEDs that aren't available as replacement. As mentioned, it's possible that the plug/connector is loose or dirty. If you remove the portion of lid liner to expose the plug, you may solve the problem. If not, you need the liner off to put in a replacement tail light assembly. You've got nothing to lose by trying.
