2007 LS 460 Screen Yellowing
I purchased a 2007 LS 460 back in March 2021 and since I've had the vehicle, I noticed the color of my front and rear screens are a bit yellow or brown looking. Does anybody have this issue and know how to fix it? Or does it just need to be replaced? I've searched this forum and was not able to find anything. Hopefully, someone can shed some light on their experience. Thanks in advance.

United Radio dot com or similar can fix this. You need to remove the unit and ship it to them. Buying a used unit isn't recommended as it will be quite old and could fail in short order. New is very pricey.

Since you are in Guam, and with the look of the buttons around your screen, I don't think you have a US model. If you do contact United Radio, make sure they know this as there could be a difference.
I haven't experienced that with my 2007, but it doesn't look so bad that I couldn't live with it.

Is this yellow tent only when you shift to R in backup camera mode? If so, it might be the camera. This was my experience with one of the 460s my family own

Might need to replace it if the color issue is not just from the camera lens, any screen exposed to sunlight or used a long time will have a color shift. I keep my screen off nearly 100% of the time and my car has been inside it's whole life so sun isn't a factor. Keep a sunshade over the dash and screen if sun is a factor for you.

We recently chased the issue down, seeing more and more 07 08 cars with VERY yellow screens. It's the matrix itself. I was almost betting it's backlight or filter - nope, it's LCD assembly which is yellowing... Uncle ali have some screens for sale, but beware, those are just junker screens with no warranty/longevity. And there are at least three different LCD models - you have to take the unit COMPLETELY apart (and it's full of ouch moments) to see back of LCD assy and part no. printed on it - all just to know what replacement to look for. All I know on this issue.
