Do you have any drag from brakes while driving? If you recently serviced your brakes double check your work.

No dragging. Wheels spin good. Maybe master cylinder?

Do an offset relearn? The system doesn't really have a connection to the pedal in the traditional sense, it uses a sensor to determine how much brake force you want. If it's out of calibration or broken it may give too much as a failsafe

A simple reset is disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes. The cpu will reset to factory, you then drive the car a few days for it to relearn your driving style. It may fix the brake issue. Like Striker said, the brake pedal pushes/pulls an electronic switch. That may be bad. While the symptoms aren't typical to indicate a brake booster/valve body fail, it could be that as well. Nothing is simple in these cars.

Interesting failure...
I believe this is what Striker was referring to, specifically the linear valve offset procedure. It's a little more involved than disconnecting the battery. If that doesn't work I'd grab a big hammer and smack the brake actuator

My car was working "normally" before I did 5 flushes and two offset learns.......however afterwords it went from having IMO worse peddle feel than my 430s and A8 to exactly on par with the A8. I was not expecting a difference but I most certainly got one.
