Seems like not even an old Lexus is immune to the ancient saying of used luxury cars. "You're gonna put at least the value of the car into it if not more."

As a general question, does the service history on Lexus Drivers site for an 07-12 show replacement of interior panels (ZLZ) if that was in fact done?

As Steve says yes it should, ZLZ or ZLX need to have been done and make sure it's ALL panels not just the dash and not doors/lower trim. They usually miss the rear seat/back of center console power port trim surround, it also will degrade and become nasty so make sure that one is new as well.
