Hope all is well LC. Need some advice from my fellow LS Owners. Ive been looking into gloss backing the roof on my LS. But as you can see, I have a very dark grey body color. It looks black, but its really. Would it make sense to gloss black the roof?

(Ive owned the car for about a year and looking to make a few upgrades to the vehicle)

It would ruin the look of the car and depress its value IMHO.

Do it! Vinyl wrap it gloss black, minimal cost. if you don't like it just peel it off.

I'd detail, tint it and new rims...then see how you feel. Those items will go a long way to make it look pimp!

Find it really sad that these regal cars are now being referred to as "pimp", Disappointing and trashy. But, that is what happens when a 6 figure car can be bought for less than 10G. A whole different clientele..

whats disappointing is your answer. he's actually trying to help me make modifications to the car. People lease cars and make modifications off the lot lol. If you don't its fine, but clearly everyone else here has tried or already has modified their car. and you still cant buy this lexus with high miles under 10K.

You should buy a brand new one so you don't have to hang out with "a whole different clientele". Go use your dog whistle somewhere else.

To OP and anyone else, its your car, your baby, you do what you want. You want to keep it stock, do it. Want to "pimp" it out, do it. Make it your own.

Not sure about the black wrap unless you do the entire car. Tinting the windows is a big refresh. I had those and it really changed the look of the car. I got lots of compliments. Wheels also will give you a nice change.
