This happens while driving dash lights go out car stays running and system check is on after , no codes at all. There is some surging in brake system feels like rear brakes because no feel in steering wheel. Car has 90000 and is mostly mint. Any help before I go to Lexus in Chandler AZ?

Welcome. going to Lexus for diagnosis is a good plan. Brake actuator and electric steering racks can and will wear out. Both items are pricey and lots of labor.

Hi neighbor! Nice looking LS. My guess is the battery or battery connections are dirty. I'd remove the battery terminals / clean and reinstall. I'd also check the battery ground wire where it attaches to the frame.

I second the battery/ground connections. Also get it scanned by a real code scanner, techstream if possible. What work has been done to the car recently?

Thanks all . Yes it is loaded front to back.
just got it last Friday, I cleaned the connections although it looked pretty good .
The good news is I got a 4 year warranty so let's hope whatever is going on is covered.
Went for a ride and it is still going on .
Connections up front look as good as the rest of the car.
It starts without issues.
I think I will take it to Lexus and let them look at it so I can have peace of mind .
I have 3 weeks to decide if it is a keeper.
they said they put rear brakes and rotors so I am suspect of them messing up a wheel speed sensor at the place I got it.
Thanks for input.

Congrats on your new ride and she looks great! Thinking of a charging system issue. Have the charging system load tested.

While it could be a wheel sensor, Lexus rotors can get warped if the lug nuts are overtightened. That happened to me once after new rotors and pads. The shop overtightened the nuts and they had to redo the brakes. Others here have reported warped rotors due to same issue.
