For future reference. This is _RWD_. On _AWD_ cutouts face bottom (stab mounting is vertical).

Looks like a squirrel is storing nuts in your cat in that last pic.

There are too many parts in the front end of these cars, when I did my trans refill I had a good look around and there are a few things I hope I never have to do on this awd model.

Nice job on the repair.

Thanks! Yeah there are a few, the AWD model is uh.....hard to deal with. Even for someone used to this type of stuff it's difficult.

Good catch, probably from the last owner since this car has never been outside in its life under me. I'll have to remove that now lol! Back up it goes after work I guess.....

Cleaned up a little under the car, that nut/thing that Gerf pointed out was actually just fiberglass insulation.

Oh and I got screwed by my radiator.

I wanted to clean it out but it turns out it was on it's last leg. That lead to replacement with a denso unit, when cleaning I also found something quite interesting. The car has a radar detection and jamming system installed on it, from K40.

I guess whoever first owned this was a bit of a speed freak like myself....this would explain why I got an engine that appears to consume no oil lol! Was probably broken in hard
