Just chiming in as the LS 460 I rescued from being scrapped had about 3cm of wheelbase difference from the left to right side. I went into the factory repair manual and that's where I found the instructions to adjust the subframe in order to align the vehicle.

I didn't think anything of it as this was my first big repair and the indy shop I took it to seemed to have figured this out, as they corrected the wheelbase differences and managed to align the vehicle.
