Default 12 LS460L AWD at 275k miles, All maintenance/repairs

EDIT: Updated to 275k miles 6/24
The forum as been a little negative lately so below is all the maintenance/repairs done on a superbly engineered Lexus. Cost 95k new (2012). Try to find any luxury car on this level that can compete after 275k miles!
The Car:
2012 LS460L AWD
275k miles
ACC, LKA, Comfort, Cold Weather, Ultra Luxury package, etc.
All options except fancy executive seat, it does have massage and heat/cool in the rear, although does have 2 tv’s.

Fun Facts:
On original rear air shocks, front replaced twice
The interior is 9/10 (dash and panels replaced in 2022)
Exterior is 7/10 Decent amount of front end road rash but paint/body is in excellent condition.
Had 50k miles in 2015, 236k 2020. 40k miles a year for 5 years
After 5k miles, zero oil use and a little too clean, using kirkland 0W20.
Never figured out a way to get the driver attention doohickey to set an alarm other than not touching steering for a minute with LKA on. What are those sensors on the steering wheel for?
It is fun to do the auto parking gismo but too much trouble to actually use.
Rear bumper was replaced at one time as paint/fit does not match. Not on carfax report.
Bought at 236k for 13k from a dealer. Competing cars with 150-175 k were in mid 20's.
Live in San Francisco. Bought in Grand Rapids MI. Drove it back in Christmas to new years week. Chicago to Reno never got above freezing, 2 days below 20, 2 days below 0, -9 in Yellowstone.
Stolen in Reno for a week car recovered with 0 damage and < 25 miles but lost belongings from trip (gal lost a lot of nice clothes, NYE and all)... quite a story!

Current needs:
Front bushings making noise but tracks great and tires wearing evenly
Auto intermittent wipers do not work, prob due to windshield being replaced and not calibrated.
Headlights need to polished
Everything else works perfectly.

Maintenance/repairs (all done at dealer until 238k miles)
51 oil changes (Ave 5.3kmiles) 45 at dealer
Rear brakes: 275k, 202k, 97k
Front brakes: 181k, 90k
Front Air shocks: 175k, 71k, 33k (RF) (all showing as warranty oddly enough) Rear are original although showing oil on the strut.
Coolant O ring 207k
Oil leak at 181k, replaced Center back gasket, intake gasket, O rings, PVC, this was valley leak
Lower front control arms: 173k
Front CV boots: 140k
Spark Plugs: 120k, 250k
Tranny + differential service: 120k, 250k
Coolant+brake service: 120k
speed sensor 130k
repair wiring chewed by mice 195k
New interior at 238k miles
Air filters as needed
THAT IS IT!!!!

I wounder why front shocks fail so often. Were replacement parts new OEM?

I would service transmission, transfer case, differential every 60k. But the car seems to be doing OK so that might not be necessary.

Was the radiator ever changed? Valley plate issues? Water pump?

High pressure fuel pump seals? Valve cover gasket?

I had to replace some vacuum lines under the hood due to developed cracking at 150k miles + many other things.

So nice to hear you have so many miles with minimal repairs and religious maintenance. Amazing that rear shocks are still original. I imagine that highway use has helped a lot.

Maintenance/repairs
47 oil changes (Ave 5.3kmiles) 45 at dealer $4800
Rear brakes: 202k, 97k $1200
Front brakes: 181k, 90k $1200
Front Air shocks: 175k, 71k, 33k (RF) $6000 (I'm assuming the first one was under warranty)
Coolant O ring 207k $200 (depending on where it was)
Oil leak at 181k, replaced Center back gasket, intake gasket, O rings, PVC ($2000)
Lower control arms: 173k $3500
Front CV boots: 140k $1500
Spark Plugs: 120k, 250k $1300
Tranny + differential service: 120k, 250k $700
New interior at 238k miles OMG!!!

Assuming the interior was replaced under the extended warranty, that's a grand total of $21,700!!!

Good point about interior. However, it wasn't done until 238k miles.

All parts replaced OEM at dealer, no to everything else. All shock replacement showed warranty which I thought was odd.
Will do tranny at 60k moving forward
Coolant and brake flushed at 120k, only 4 years ago. So prob can go another 2 years before doing again.
Got lucky with interior replacement, but car was only 9 years old and still looked perfect. Car was never stored outside I think.

My understanding is you are supposed to change brake fluid every 2 years.
