My '13 Fsport is at the shop right now getting both front air struts swapped out. The LF has a pin hole leak, which lead to that corner being bottomed out every morning.
Dealer was charging $1500/each, and they price matched other Lexus dealerships for $1200/each + tax. $2500.00 for just parts, and my Indy mechanic charging $590 for install labor.

I'm assuming you're NOT on OEM air suspension?

I live in St. Pete, FL. I just had my suspension replaced Tuesday/Wednesday of this week. 2013 LS460. Did all 8 control arms up front, sway bar links up front, struts front and rear. I went with KYB replacement struts (Amazon). My mechanic (who is a perfectionist) charged $460 to install the two front struts. Going with KYB, you have to reuse the existing spring and buy new KYB strut mounts. So there is labor to R&R them on the car and labor to swap the spring over to the new strut.

99RX,
I live in northern Pinellas county. Would you mind sharing the name/phone number of your mechanic?

you made it 176k on original oem airstruts? What year is your car?
Lots of ppl here swapping oem airstruts w/ spring & shocks…to each their own, however, I purchased the F Sport knowing I would have to eventually get new struts.
I heavily researched Arnott air struts & Fortune coilovers. Arnott was out after I found out I would lose functionality of dampening with a turn of a ****.
Coilovers were also out after realizing I would lose the luxurious air ride feel. I didn’t want to relive my import tuning days. I hung up that coat 20 yrs ago. Also the wait time was minimum 6-8 weeks.
All in all, I’m happy with replacing the oem air struts. She literally rides like a brand new whip!

2014 Lexus Ls460L suspension renewal?
I have a 2014 LS460L with 215k miles. Naturally my ride has deteriorated over the years and after bringing it to multiple shops everyone keeps telling me that everything looks good??? I find it hard to believe that's the case. Also there is a bump/rattle in the front end everytime you hit a pothole that no one seems to be able to find. I replaced the shocks at 136k and that helped but it certainly did not return my ride to it's original smoothness. What, if anything, can I do to renew my suspension to as close as original ride as possible? Thank you for any info. I'm fairly new to this (and any) forum and a newby to posting period. So forgive me if my structure, language, or placement of my posts are incorrect. May take a minute for this 'hick from the sticks' to get it but I'm trying to learn!
