Ls460 brake actuator
My ls had the failing actuator with the hard pedal and Christmas lights so I replace it with a known working one . I’ve install the replacement one in the car and bled the brakes with a scanner . The final linear initializing wouldn’t finalized so I couldn’t clear the code . All the lights and hard pedal is still there like I have never replaced anything . Would the pedal be hard if the initial finalized couldn’t be performed. I did hear the motor activate everytime the bleeding process was in progress .

Was the part new?
i noticed most junkyards say that all their parts are working and tested, yet it’s actually broke.
I bought 3 “tested and working” A/C amplifiers off eBay and all of them were broken.
