Miss my LS and the CL community 🥲
Thats it.
Theres nothing more to it.
I miss my LS460L, everything about it. Had to sell my beloved 2013 LS460L (after owning 3 LS's prior) back in 2020 due to my sudden move to another country. Where I am living now, a similar LS from the same year would probably cost me around $250,000 (in CASH). I can't afford to spend that kind of money on a car, no matter how much I love it. I miss the ride, the V8 power and smoothness, the legroom, the comfort, the ML sound system, and the purely blissful driving experience.
My message to everyone who still owns an LS, be grateful for your LS and cherish it because once its gone, you'll realize its true value. (I know I know, sounds cheesy but seriously, can't seem to find another car I like driving as much as my LS and I've tried all the German competitors. Its not the same)
Moving on, I want to thank each and every one of the members of this community for being a part of something so dear to me. You guys have always helped in times of need, and honestly this forum has taught me a lot of random things (probably also made me an expert on the 4th gen LS)
Keep doing what you guys are doing, keep driving what you guys are driving, and keep enjoying the car that is probably one of the finest made automobiles on the road today.
That being said, I would also like to point out that I might just be the youngest member / previous owner on the 4th gen LS forum (turned 20 recently). Really wish people my age would understand the sheer driving pleasure of this car more, but I guess I just have the same "old man taste" that everyone seems to associate the LS with.
Lastly, here are a couple pictures of my car because I'd buy it back in a heartbeat if I ever got the opportunity again:
Signing off,
Mahad

I miss my LS460 too, everyday when I’d pull into my garage after my long commute I’d say...I love this car. They are great cars.

I really loved my 08 LS460. Probably, next to my LS400, the best Lexus I've ever driven. Do I wish I had it back? No, but if it was a 2012 LS460, I probably would still have it. Great cars.

I miss my LS460L sometimes too, and definitely miss the community here. The MB community isn't as active. I wish Lexus still made cars like that.
I was talking about this with my wife, with cars so expensive I am seriously considering buying my cars out of their leases next year and keeping them for a while, how ironic is it that I drove Lexus cars for so long and now that I may have to keep a car for a while after warranty its a Mercedes lol

That is why I have two LS 460, a 2015 which sits in my garage with 12,000 miles and a 2016 one with 29,000 miles which I'm driving it daily. Oh man I love these cars....

Maybe consider buying a "select" used LS460 with low miles and maintenance history to make it as reliable as possible. While extends warranties can be purchased for both Lexus and MB, the MB is much more likely to inconvenience you with more time in the shop. BTW, you can shop other dealers $$ for a MB extended warranty before your initial warranty expires. You're very car savvy and will do what's right for you when the time comes.

So you're telling me you have a spare Lexus? That's pretty impressive actually. Gives meaning to the phrase "have your cake and eat it too"!

Yews, I still do have one "spare" in my garage, the one with 29,000 miles has 50,000 miles now, it will will probably be for sale soon since we will be moving to our new residence in New Mexico soon.
