Reached another milestone today.
And not necessarily a pleasant one. Took my 2014 LS460 to the local Lexus dealership for a simple engine oil and filter change (nothing else, no "inspect this" and "inspect that"). Wait for it..........
$150.00!!!
I guess it's time to start checking out alternative venues!

Even my ( now departed ) CL 600 V12 oil change at the Mercedes dealership was not so expensive...My Lexus dealer charges are around $80 for an oil and filter change....

I'd check the pricing at a Toyota dealership then look at some independent shops.

As mentioned, I'd find a local Toyota dealer and see if they work on Lexus vehicles. I'd have to believe their prices would be much better and the service just as good.

Here in San Diego, my Toyota dealer did my last oil change for $85 using full synthetic and they paid for my Lyft ride one way! That was a year ago. Even if prices have gone up at Toyota, they will have gone up at Lexus as well. BTW, Toyota service shows up on my Lexus drivers account maintenance records for documentation purposes.

When I do a service on my car with pennzoil ultra and a trd filter it costs me 72usd, $85 for someone else to do it is a good deal as long as they don't screw it up.

I take my 2010 LS 460L to the local Toyota dealership and get the oil and fiter changed along with tire rotation and my last bill at 95,015 miles was $83.10 out the door. $6.78 of that was tax. That was 6 qts of 0w20 Mobil 1, Gasket and Filter. I never go to the Lexus dealership unless it is a warranty item. Now I do get 10 percent off of parts and labor for being Retired Military. Time to find a new shop

I got the same exact printout on my Toyota oil change. My oil level was perfect. Corporate programming.
