Default Rear TOP Vents not blowing air

In my executive seating LS the rear NO AIR FLOW (not ac) is coming out the right side top or side vents. Its coming out on the drivers side strong but nothing out of the passengers side. I have not changed anything, its always set to automatic. It's like the car turned off that motor or shut that vent off.

I ran Techstream and cleared DTC's and I got the "Error Clearing DA-030-004) Clearning dtcs freeframe data and montiros status has failed...would you like to try again"

Any where I can look?

Does anyone know about how to test the "damper" or whatever the doors that open and close?

Thanks to anyone in advance for their help!!!!!

What error codes were you trying to clear?

No codes about the servo motors ... I think you need to set the direction of the fan from the rear controls since driver and passenger side are independent .

What do you mean by this? since the drivers side rear is blowing like crazy and the passenger side gets NO AIR FLOW

THanks

Check the rear seat climate control screen at the arm rest area . In order for the top vent to work it should be at top position. Take a pic.

The best way to confirm is to cycle through the airflow positions in the rear ac controls buttons (face then top then down) and check . The codes that you have currently have no mention of a failed servo motor because their positions are always monitored so if they were not opening a code should be shown relating to the vents ..

I just disconnected the battery and still nothing.

I did notice that there is ZERO AIR FLOW on passengers side. I can feel and hear air blowing on drivers side (left) not only the vents where airs coming out above but you can hear and feel where air is going into system on ceiling (air return duct). On right side passenger there is no air flow at vents or at this air return duct

  2. select A/O Servo Pulse(Rr P) and control the value from 0-255 and see if there any change while the ac blower is on .

Yes , its to control the air outlet servo for the rear passenger vents, do the test while the ac blower is running to confirm if its a bad servo or the AC amplifier(computer module) is malfunctioning.
