Default No volume

I switched my amp out because it was bad now everything works besides the volume button. I can’t control any volume. The Bluetooth works and I can control that volume but as for the radio no volume control and no sound. Any ideas?
it’s the ML system for a LS600h

Maybe the amp you put in has issues. I'd also examine all the connectors and wires for damage. All it takes is a small nick in the insulation that's hard to see at a casual glance.

Did you run 'System Check Mode' to check if the amp passes?

Have you checked the main fuse for the amp? Not sure about the 600h, but in my 460 the 30-amp fuse is located on the lower, passenger side footwell area.

I would guess, it is caused by the new amp. It is "stuck" at a constant volume.

The words you're using to describe the problem aren't painting a clear picture. What does the screen look like when you start the car? pictures. You say radio but do you mean no music from an aux input sources as well? Can you use the telephone through the car system?

The telephone works I can make calls and control volume from the steering wheel on phone calls but nothing else gives sound. The volume does not show up on the screen when turning the volume ****

It sounds like the head unit is the problem. Or the amp is wrong one and won't take commands. All the amp (in the trunk) does is amplify sound. Is the amp what you replaced? All the controlling is done by the head unit which is part of the screen in the center dash.
