It took four weeks from submitting the diagnostics to get my car out with a replaced tranny. Another two weeks is my fault where I was taking to different shops to get diagnostics. I was out of car for almost six weeks.
If I were I would have taken the ls to indy shop instead of dealership. Route66 is another company I have heard good things about. I will not own a LS460 without a warranty as it is electric gremlin.

I appreciate the info. My LS is a 2013 with only 62k on it but it does have air suspension along with all the other things that can typically go wrong. Though the miles are low, it's still 10 years old. I'll look into these companies.

You can buy route66 warranty through PenFed. Toco warranty is pay per month. I don't have personal experience with either but I'm aware about em when I was searching for LS460.

Trogdor113, thanks for your post reply. You bring up some valid points. I've been having the same issues with my AA80E transmission. I did a drain and fill thinking it would resolve the shifting issue but I never thought about the electrical plug being filled with trans fluid. I also have a set of sensors on-hand but I'm hesitant to drop the valve body in my garage because I'm afraid springs will drop and won't be able to re-install them. Do you have any pointers?
