Default Trouble changing clock after DST

2013 LS with aftermarket VLINE2 installed

After DST, I tried changing the clock through menu settings like I have in the past when clocks change one hour. It's not responding this time. I've had 2 people at Lexus "look at it", including a technology expert. They think it's the VLINE2 interfering. I've looked at all settings and just cannot figure it out. Clock is operating fine, it's one hour fast. Any thoughts on what to try next?

I'm not sure if you're doing the same thing but I have to go to settings and turn DST off/on on/off for the clock to change, it doesn't seem to be able to do it on it's own.

Yes, that's what I usually do. I have tried that 20 times, in every combination of settings for the clock under the menu. No luck this time.

I just checked in techstream and there's nothing in the utility/ customize settings for the clock.

It's just odd that it would be all of a sudden and need a total replacement. Clock is working fine. Seems like it would be more of a setting issue. Anyone have this issue with their VLINE2 unit? I wonder if there's a way to disconnect and reconnect the VLINE to see if a reset might fix it. I've reached out to Grom Audio.

This is a known issue with the VLINE2. Contact Grom support. They should send you a new splitter harness for free. Thats exactly what happened to mine.

Oh man, this happened to me about 5 yrs ago, while my car was still under warranty. Took it to Lexus & they determined the clock was faulty, and they changed it out.

I hope yours is just a glitch & easily resolved.

What year is yours though? This is the reply that I got from Grom Audio:

"We most likely need to send you a new harness. We noticed the older revision of the harness effected the factory clock's data wires, allowing the clock to not be changed via the radio."

Then...

"Sorry, it actually seems I was incorrect. This issue sounded like an issue we saw with LEX6VL2, which affects some 2012 Lexus LS vehicles. Your 2013 is actually a LEX7VL2, so that issue does not apply here.

For the LEX7, we have no influence over the clock and it should work as normal. It looks like the clock gets it's data from a 24 pin connector at the display which we do not even connect to."
