Default LS500 access mode issue

Hi everyone ! Just became a proud owner of LS500 and am currently owning two 98 LS400 and a former owner of 430. Pretty much a diehard fan of LS lol

my issue and hopefully mine can help educate future owners :

I learned that the car can raise and lower when locking and unlocking door when I turn on access mode under vehicle setting

However , mine doesn’t seem to be doing that. Dealer inspected and said their computer found no issue.

They returned the car to me only saying the headquarter engineer told them I have to drive the car over 12 miles and park and lock the car for 3 to 4 minutes on level ground in order for the feature to work

I was shocked to learn of this as I believe this should be an ongoing and routine operation for the car whenever I unlock the car. No?

plz help if any of u out there can shed some light on my issue here.

Also, I noticed my driver seatbelt buck is making some noise when it raises itself. Any remedy ?

mime is a 18 with 50k miles.

thanks in advance !

Raising about one inch takes about one second, lowering takes a long time. Probably because of safety. (What if a child or animal gets under the car and it lowers itself too fast? Horror!!)
I made a video of this feature, please note: What you see in the video as lowering is in fact the raising of the car in reverse (played backwards) I made this video just for fun last year.

Thanks for the video. Does the car raise itself EVERY TIME you walk up to the car and unlock it by touching the door handle? Does it raise itself by just simply using the remote from a distance?

Do we have to turn on height control and access mode in order for it to work?

Mine is not raising itself when I unlock it. That is why I am posting for help here. Any input is appreciated.

My 2018 EU car does NOT raise itself with the fob, only if you touch the doorhandles. i only have to drive one mile for it to work, probably less. (not tested)
On the steering wheel:

Go with the arrow keys to the right (ok)
Select vehicle settings (ok)
Go to HI (the car symbol) (ok)
Select access mode on

And it should work.
