Mind is set on LS500.

The designers could have made the wheels bigger and allowed for thicker tires to keep the same comfort. But this new LS design is begging for 21's or 22's

The LS500 is 206.1 inches long.
LS460L is 205
S550 is 206.9
7 is 206.7
So the LS500 is actually shorter.

Maybe you should spend more time figuring out how to comprehend what you read & less time responding. Furthermore, even though there are 5 distinct wheels available for the LS 500, some are standard, while others are optional or model specific (F Sport) which aren't interchangeable from the factory, POINT BLANK!

BJ: I think you are correct - I had no idea the metaphorical use of that expression had been extended so broadly. I must be living in a cave, and I stand corrected. Thanks.

I have owned 3 hybrids from Toyota: 2x Camry Hybrid (07, 08) and Avalon Hybrid (14) and i must say they are great. The Avalon was powerful, and was only 2.5L/4cyl. Single stage, front wheel drive. That said, the BEST way to know is to spend some quality time behind the wheel of both - be sure to experience all you would in a week's worth of driving whilst test driving both - for me that means county roads, expressway, traffic-jambed expressway, stop and go in busy retail areas, neighborhoods... you get the point. TRULY learn both cars, and then decide. Both will perform to your initial impression longer than you'll want to keep the car.
Congrats in advance

I have to add: its NEVER been about MPG, though the 42 I averaged with the Avalon was nice.. its always been about the smoothness; the technology. I don't like feeling shifts or an engine idling unless I'm in my hotrod, and even then I am particularly drawn to NVH reduction. That said, there are more reasons than economy to go hybrid or EV. That was a profound statement when I bought a Camry Hybrid at 21 years old and my friends couldn't understand why.... that was a decade ago, now top times around world class race tracks are held by hybrids... Porsche, McLaren.... point is, get what you like the FEEL of
