I got the chance to do some brief autocrossing in the LS500 F SPORT - it was quite good.

I drove it first in normal/comfort mode, where there was a loooooot of body roll and shifts/throttle response were nothing special. Next, drove it in Sport S+ mode, where the change was so noticeable - the body roll was reduced to almost nothing, the shifts were much quicker, throttle response was better, and the engine sound was much more prevalent (in a good way). Lastly, drove it in Sport S+ with manual shifting engaged, which was also fun, and the paddle shifting was pretty responsive.

The car handled well, there was a moderate amount of understeer, as you'll see in the video...I was expecting it to handle like the GS F...it didn't. For a car this large, heavy, and comfortable, it handled very well and felt very quick. I can't think of another car in this class that handles as well/is as nimble without jumping up to a S63/S65 or M760Li for 100k more. I'm definitely a fan of this car.

Also sidenote, the red F SPORT interior is absolutely incredible (not shown in video).

That's so awesome seeing a car not traditionally used in Auto X out there and hearing that its actually a fun car too!
