Default Air Suspension Lowering

Does anyone know how the air suspension lowering works? I am asking this because I have a 6" high ledge in the front of my garage and our 2103 GS just fits over it when I pull in (and BTW I am not going to back in).

I thought I read some posts that the car automatically lowers when you get out. If so how much lower does it go and can you set it so it doesn't automatically lower

The vehicle when set to low will lower once your reach a certain speed or stop. You can always leave it in standard setting and not have that issue.

You could hit the rapid height button and set it to "Hi" so the front end will come up before entering your garage.

Bumping an old thread but need to know if constant driving in “high” setting is harmful for the suspension. I am tired of scrapping the bumper on curbs and wheel stops. Thanks
