LS or Tesla Model S

I think what Kellens is referring to is the ability in the G90 to press a single button (located on the rearview mirror), which brings up a Google interface on the central screen and asks you what you're looking for. You can simply say the name of a place you'd like to Google (e.g., "Discount Tire" or "Costco" or "123 Elm Street"), and the system brings up a list of places that match your search on the central screen. You can then select the location you're interested in, and the Genesis Maps function takes over to navigate you to the location you selected.
I really liked this feature on my 2017 G90, and used it all the time. I'm not sure if it was technically "Google Maps," but it was definitely Google-based and was the smoothest way to find a location I've ever encountered in an automotive navigation system.

Correct, Google Search, but not Google maps, which you would find in say an Audi, or through Android Auto.

I think your friend must have had a system installed to allow Google maps on his G90 like you can get for the G90, or he was running Android Auto or something. My searching around found they do sell such systems for Hyundai/Genesis and the G90 specifically. There are no “downloadable” totally different nav programs.
Stop trying to paint me as some sort of rube when it comes to technology. I’m 36 years old and I work with technology every day. You hate the Lexus we get it, but you aren’t being objective here.
I’ve had both systems, and they are very similar. BlueLink/UVO is just as crippled when moving as Enform (as is the uConnect in my Pacifica). The processor is faster than what was in my older Lexus cars but not what’s in my 2017 which is much better in that regard, and not what is in the LS500 I tested. Yes my LS dates back to 2007 as a chassis, but the infotainment system is not from 2007.
Perhaps the menus are somewhat better organized, but as a system as a whole it’s very similar.

You don't need help being painted as a rube. From reading others replies here from other members, you are adept in this in your own rite, and no way you work in technology (or are good at it if you do) if you feel the LS and Tesla (as in topic) or G90 systems aren't superior in speed, or as you put it, much better organized. And in no way do I hate Lexus. Is my favorite brand. But am not so biased as your post above, and feel their tech is way behind the curve, and it is more crippled than any other maker out there at this point. The original thread was comparing the Tesla and LS500. Different beasts. Technology in one far above the other, but Lexus/Toyota in about last place in this arena doesn't help, was my point.

See above from a G90 owner...no Google maps.
And I didn’t say I worked IN technology. I said I work with technology. As in I use technology in my work. I stand by what I said having a 17 Lexus myself and having used the system in the G90. It’s not faster. It’s faster than what was in my 15 LS, but not the 17. Isn’t faster than the system in the 18 either...
Thanks also for the personal insults. Very mature.
