Sorry, just seeing this. Honestly, the startup on the GSF put a smile on my face every single time I drove the car. It's just a pure throaty V8.

I've only driven the LS for a few days in crappy PA weather so hard to give any good impressions. I know its not going to have the passing power and force of the GSF and I expected that.

I think overall, the LS is very capable and still fun to drive, but not as much as the GSF.

Default New (to me) owner..

Just purchased my 6th Lexus, a 2018 LS500 with 16K miles. AWD, black on black with several options. After a month of driving I am very pleased so far. Not far into the manual as i like to try things first than read about it later. (Man thing). Have experienced several things so far that are consistent with Forum comments such as run flat tire ride and the somewhat cumbersome touchpad. Look forward to your comments and discussion moving forward. Also thanks for the comment regarding forum civility as while frank reviews are helpful, mean spirited ones are not. Thanks to all...

This is my fourth Lexus, my previous one was a 2009 LS 600h which i drove for over six years, last summer i bought this 2018 LS 500h President.

Here they are, together at the dealer, i miss that smooth V8...

I wanted a white interior, it took me six months to find this one. Love the interior...

2018 Lexus LS 500 AWD F-Sport ML, Panoramic
Exterior: Obsidian
Interior: Black
Traded up from 2015 LS 460, Comfort Package. Besides the tint, I'll be leaving this as is (sporty/classy).

Default I am a 2018 LS 500 Owner also

Gents,

Recently purchased an 2018 LS 500 in the DFW area. Car has less than 43k miles on it and warranty. However, after only 1 week of driving, noticed noise from Rear when going over a bump or hitting the brakes hard on the freeway. Took car to dealership and also found out the previous owner didn’t do the maintenance at 30k nor 40k miles which included changing rear differential fluids, plugs, and some other stuff. Took it to another Lex dealer Vice the one I brought it from. Hoping not a sham, but I did sit right there when the VIN was put in and saw all of the missing Maintenance on the list.

Just because it's not in Lexus' system doesn't mean it wasn't done. The previous owner could have done the services at an independent mechanic. However diff fluid and plugs and stuff are not needed at that mileage so don't worry about that extra unnecessary work at all. I can't imagine those services would be even close to being needed at such low mileage.
