Picked up a new to me 2018 LS500 Lux in Atomic Silver with 45K mi on the clock.
Been looking for several months and once zeroed in on the LS, the must have features and configuration was AWD, Luxury package, ML Sound, 24 inch HUD and adaptive air suspension which I finally found loaded up with even more options like 20 inch Vapor Chrome Rims, Safety System A+, LED headlamp with AFS, Panorama roof, Panoramic view monitor, Premium wood trim and heated wood/leather steering wheel. Pretty much everything but the executive package. Car had 1 owner, clean CF and just came off lease.
The only mods I plan on adding is a solid remote start kit and some brighter LEDs for the trunk. Already upgraded to wireless CarPlay using Ottocast U2-X Pro thanks to Nalod's post in the LS500 forum.
My Lexus journey was from ES, to GS350 and to now LS500.
Here's a few pics ......

Crackling Noise (LS2020)
I bought a 2020 in Feb 2021 with 2k miles once the car passed the 4k I began hearing a crackling noise on the headliner. I have taken the car 4 time to the dealer and although they have been extremely nice to me, the problem persist.
Anyone with this issue? If so how was it corrected.
I think it is a manufactured problem as two of the loaners (both 2024 ES) have similar noises. Not a bad as mine but very similar.
This is my first Lexus and in general I love the car but the noise drives me crazy.

hi Everyone,
Just got a used 2018 LS500h with the executive package in Manganese Luster with 62k miles.
This is an upgrade to the 2004 LS430 that I have. I was able to add the carplay firmware it however it is not wireless.
Great car for road trip. Just did the spark plugs change recently on it.
