LS500 sales numbers

No, I'm not the sadistic type.
I want to see 5LS win - just like the previous four generations of LS.
To succeed, consumers expect "appropriate" form & function.
Manufacturers must design the product to meet the needs & wants of consumers.
Manufacturers don't have the freedom to do whatever they please, force consumers to adapt to their products, and then expect sales to come from the sky.
I don't want to see LS get axed like the full size RWD Infiniti Q45 due to poor design resulting in poor sales over 10 years ago.
We're all humans, and we all make mistakes.
It's just about correcting those mistakes, and moving on.
The stupidest thing any human can do is to deny they ever made mistakes...

These numbers are for Lexus and Mercedes/Audi/BMW Canada only.
Lexus LS offer right now is $10K off for cash only purchases. I don't believe financing counts and the sales professional I am speaking to is confirming this tomorrow. Here is what blows my mind. Right now, based on publicly available offers only, these two cars cost the same to the dealer. This is without margin.
1) 2018 S450, with the Premium Package, HUD, and the $6900 3D Burmester stereo. MB is offering $10,000 off right off the bat (again, publicly available offer), even for financing
2) Lexus LS500, Luxury package. If you finance/lease, then you don't qualify for the $10K off.
That's asinine to me. I also just found out I qualify for MB's Executive Car Allowance discount. I just asked my MB sales professional what that equates to, but it's insane to me that Lexus is not moving the LS cars quickly, but yet refuse to budge on price. Both Audi ($4500 exec discount and $8000 discount publicly available), BMW (BMW is offering me $16,500 off of the 7 based on the discounts I qualify for), and MB (at least $10K if not more). Lexus?
Nothing.
Seriously? Meet me half way here Lexus!

This thread is probably not the right place to ask this kinds of questions. Talking to your dealership salespersons will be much more productive; for example, getting a higher trade-in value for your existing MB will be a way to effectively reduce your purchase price.
