How did you negotiate 17k off?

Hi Everyone, newbie here. Just picked up my 2018 LS 500 F-Sport for a phenominal 70K mad dash from my dealer prior to adding other options (see add-ons below). If you are in the market, try to find a dealer in a slow market like Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tenn and so on. They are trying to make deal for all the 2018 model year. Also, I've talked to several dealers who say that CARPLAY is coming to ALL Lexus 2018 flagship models - I don't know when that will be, but I'm waiting!!! I actually did my research online, took a flight to the state that had the absolute lowest price, got some additional incentives - added some items like Low profile tire ins; key fob ins; and a few others. Walked out at about $75K total.

So for CarPlay I was told 18's that we're built after a certain date. So mine will not get CarPlay.

Care to share that certain date with the rest of us?

Yes just checked October 2018 anything before that will not get carplay. I also contacted Lexus to make sure it was verified, which I really wish I could have it but not a huge deal for me.

wouldnt anything after oct 2018 be a 2019 LS Model year?

would love car play as well on my 2018, but not in lieu of the savings.

Or wait until end of 2020 and get a leftover 2020 with probably more tech and other improvements. Technology marches on and there will always be something else better. Balance what makes sense and enjoy it while you can!

That’s crazy! 25% off on a newly redesigned LS, that’s fantastic. Has Lexus ever done such deep discounts on a newly redesigned vehicle so soon? I know sedan sales are in the tank and SUV sales are all the rage, but this is an LS.

Yea I've never heard of this much discount on any vehicle. I would be stupid not to take it but the only thing that's stopping me is I currently have a BMW and we all know they depreciate like crazy so I have to roll over negative equity.

The best I could get on a '18 S450 was about 14k off on a 96k MSRP car. But at that low MSRP, I wouldn't have HUD, massaging seats, upgraded stereo, 20s, etc. And this body style has been out since 2014
