Default hi 500 f sport

got the sense you were an enthusiast

can you give us if you feel your comfortable with it, the

driving experience coming from the z51,
the ride of the 500 in different modes, to eco norm, sport

the powertrain throughts coming from a v8 , smoothness, mpg, eco, normal sport mode thoughts

the height of the seating position, the comfort of the interior for highway rides

all would be appreciated if you have time
thanks

The Z51 Stingray with a 7 sp manual is a totally different beast than the LS 500 F Sport with a 10 sp auto. The z51 punch and beat you up on launch. The LS is ultra smooth yet relatively quick for a huge car. I haven't really taken the LS near its limit yet because I'm still in the break in period. I driven mostly in comfort mode for now. It's really comfortable and quiet inside. In sport + I could feel more bumps on fwys but still smoother than more cars out there. As for mpg...I avg about 22 mpg for the first 400 miles.

Even though this car is the F Sport model, it's nowhere near a sports car ride. As for performance....its quick and smooth but still a big heavy luxury liner. I will have more insight after I have a chance to break it in and track it.

Hooked!

I cannot wait to hear your opinions and thoughts as you get more miles on the vehicle.

Would love to know if you plan to do any mods.

yup. Had a baby so I needed a family car. Might as well get the flagship car in its sportiest form.

As for mods...most likely start with ECU tune and go from there.

That's a great looking LS! Any pics of the interior you can post. I haven't been able to see one of these in person yet.

Thanks.Pics doesn't do justice with this car. It just feels like pure class when you sit inside.

I always respect other's opinions. I test drove the S 560, BMW 750, and Audi A8. I'll give the Audi first place for interior. S 560 and LS are about the same level. But performance....the LS F-Sport brake, corners and out accelerate the S560. There's also a video on YouTube and Lexus.com showing the comparison.
