Bluetooth phone audio issues when i call
When i call from my 2018 Lexus 500, they complain how poorly i sound. At first i though maybe it was my phone and service. I have 2 other cars Audi & Corvette 2017...never get same complain. I tried my wife phone , against my still same issue but her phone did sound slightly better. I have work with dealer, the opinion was it was my phone. I am not totally convince...anyone have this can of issue ?

Is it poor audio quality or low volume at the other end? I have an iPhone 8 and no one has complained so far. I think while you are on a call you can raise the sensitivity of the microphone so that you sound louder to the other party.

Changing the volume in the cars settings comes with the warning that it may degrade
the clarity. Be aware of the microphone location and don't speak to the steering wheel...LOL.

When you are making a call in the car you will see options to increase the volume of the other party or increase the sensitivity of your mike. Also the mic is above your head. It works well as long as you are looking forward with your head slightly raised.

Try this.......reboot your phone. 99% of iPhone problems I see, especially random ones are fixed by simply rebooting the phone. Most iPhone users rarely or never reboot. It's just a computer that can make phone calls.

Assuming the transmit Volume setting isn't way off you might want to run a test with a call where you try angling your face up/down while looking directly ahead through the windscreen. I have found that the best position for the other party to clearly hear you is to angle your face slightly upwards so that the mic can pick up your voice clearly. Also if there is a lot of ambient noise caused by the AC fan set on high then that will negatively impact the quality of the sound heard by the other person. If you still have a problem then something might be wrong with your mic and you probably need to have it checked out by the dealer.
