...the big grommet surrounding the steering column was shoved up way under the dash. The grommet keeps engine bay sounds from intruding into the passenger compartment, so I was hearing valve tapping from that place, but when turning the wheel to the left it would make a groaning sound. First dealership said it was normal, that nothing was wrong, so took it to another dealer. But now the driver's door panel is rattling and squeaking like crazy and it's in the shop again. Fuel door won't stay open when fueling, God, what is this, a Yugo? "We can't replicate the issue." Sigh...Tired of taking the car to all of these different dealers...gettin' old, running out of dealers, and yes, the car's been out of service more than 30 days already. I took delivery of the car 05/28/2019. I've had enough.

Have you called Lexus corporate as yet? They generally act quickly on complaints such as yours as this is not a general defect with these cars. If you ask them to send out a Factory engineer to the dealership of your choice they will generally do so. Also post on their facebook page and their Instagram account - lexususa.
