New Infotainment Update rolled in
#5
Good question. I think it had to be an Enform update because it said to remember to connect the phone to the apps suite. Thanks for clarifying with a question.

I use the enform system to prestart my car for the cold or hot days.. Car will run for 10 min before shutting off. also the doors have to be locked, and when you open the door, engine turns off. All kinds of info is also transmitted to your phone, Wish the carplay worked with my Samsung note.

Why would anyone use it? It is useless, and with CarPlay you really don't need it. I wonder if they will do a retro for Android Auto, I don't use Android but a lot of people do.
I wish Apple would put better DAC's in the iPhones, but I think Tidal and now Amazon Music give me good enough quality.

i use Enform to remote start the car. I loaded the OTA update to the car a couple days ago, but did not realize that now my phone app was outdated and was no longer able to start the car. I found I needed to download the new app, Enform 2.0, to my android phone. I am used to apps that simply auto-update, so it took me a couple days to figure it out.

Enform remote and Enform app suite 2.0 are two different apps - at least on IOS. I don't use the app. suite anymore as it's useless. I might use the Remote app once in a while to start my car and cool it down in the Florida heat.

Hey, you stated that you might use the app - Are you paying a subscription for the remote app ???

The car is less than a year old, so yes I use it sporadically as you get one year free. Safety connect is available for 10 years. I am not going to renew the Enform remote or destinations as they aren't worth it to me.

I recently renewed the subscription for Remote Start. I use that feature to heat and cool the car before I get in at work. I have a garage at home and use it there too, lol. I thinks it's cool, lol. It's a month by month subscription, so it's not a big commitment for me.
