Did you get a spare as you've swapped out of the Runflats?

Now's the time to DIY a ceramic finish such as Carpro Cquartz 3.0 No swirls in your new paint, so very little prep required. Buy the 50ml kit and put two coats on. About $80 on Amazon. She's beautiful.

Nope. I plan on buying an inflator kit with the goo. I rarely get flats and if I do lots of highway driving one day I may look for a used wheel & tire combo.

The goo will likely ruin the TPMS sensor. I haven't heard of anyone cleaning it. Not the end of the world, but be prepared for the cost. I have a plug kit in my trunk, very simple to use and has been used for decades for nail/screw type flats. It won't affect TPMS sensor. EDIT: I discovered that some of these goo companies offer TPMS safe versions. I haven't researched how well they work though.

What a beautiful car. Great video too.what kind of Tesla you used to have? I wanted a Tesla but can’t get myself to buy one. The interior is a huge turn off and well I wasn’t impressed with the drive itself. Driven my friend as model s P90? Awd I think.

I traded in a Model S 85D. I still have a Model S P100D as my other car. I won't be buying another anytime soon, too many broken promises from Elon and it's hard to get service here. Lesson learned.

Great review. The LS is worlds better looking inside and out then a Model S. You went from 23 out of 31 in reliability to #1 in reliability according to Consumer Reports. The Model S has the highest insurance of any car according to the Insurance Bureau. How does your insurance premiums compare.

It went up, a lot. The insurance on my 2015 85D was $1,193/yr, the insurance on my 2018 LS500 is $1,628/yr. However, a more fair comparison is to my 2018 Tesla S P100D which is $1,323/yr.

So, the insurance on my Lexus is substantially higher -- 23%, taking into account same year / similar config. Although my P100D cost at least 50% more to purchase.

I second this 100%. Detailedimage.com is also an excellent source, I buy all my stuff from them.

Question, I'm assuming you also have to have an air pump in the trunk as well?

Yes I have a Viair 12 v pump in trunk with the plug kit. Another nice thing about plugs is you can wait a few weeks to get an interior patch applied to tire. Many folks will ride with plugs for months. They have adhesive that cures and really holds. I also have xl jumper cables that I've owned for 30 years. Nothing wrong with battery jumpers if that's your preference.

What type of limits?
What type of deductibles?
How many miles a year?
Garaged or non-garaged?
How many accidents?
How many tickets?

Nope, responded to post #4 by OP. Many posts, like life, aren't black and white, they ebb and flow like the tide.
