LS500 enform system upgrade
I have a 2018 LS500 without a carplay facility , I heard that there is a way to upgrade the system officially to make it applicable with carplay. Does any one has any information in how to upgrade my system?

It is possible to add Apple Carplay to an 2018. This link should point you in the right direction.

The head unit needs a software and firmware update. That software and firmware are only available from a Lexus dealer. Additionally, if you are able to find that software yourself and the update fails you could end up with a unit that no longer works.

What can I do?

When you decide to do something yourself you are also taking on the responsibility for your actions. If you can find a dealer who has the software and the documentation (and more importantly the experience) you are better off. My car was one of the first ones done in Orlando. The dealer actually asked me to wait for a week so that they could try it out on one of their cars before working on a customer's car. It took about 3 hours to do the work.

Finally I solved the issue by restarting the car without the USB , Then I got a green screen telling me to restart the car and after restarting I did the upgrade again smoothly, Thanks for all the people who contacted me on privet to solve my issue.

Since no one wanted to share here the firmware to me (im a little surprised of it ), I had to register on Toyota tech site and buy 2 days licence for download new firmware. If someone needs it , pm me . Its only for usa version ls500 .
