My LS400 & LS500 F Sport (with 21' Vossen wheels)
Hi Guys, I am new to Clublexus. I live in Vancouver, Canada. Excited to share with Lexus fans
I did ceramic pro coating once got the vehicle. I wanna keep it for more than 20 years lol
The only modification I made so far, is the 21' Vossen HF-4t wheels, with Michelin pilot sport 4s tires. Strongly recommend this tires upgrading, the OEM Bridgestone run-flat tires are uncomfortable and cause some noise from road. I also lowered the body with Lexon Exclusive Lowering Link Kit. Personally I think the original body height for LS500 is a bit too much. By lowering the body, I did not feel any difference from the air suspension itself, but as the car was significantly lowered, I am nervous when passing speed bumps or exiting underground parking lots. Well, you can not have it both ways
with 265/295 wide wheels, the edge of wheels just match the F sport body, looks fantastic!
I chose 21' wheels cuz I want to keep the comfortable of my LS500, 22' may lost some of them I guess.
After driving my LS500 for about one year, I am totally fall in love with Lexus LS. (I have another 2018 BMW 530 for daily ride, but that one is just a car, not "the car" lol)
So, I came up an idea: I want to have an old LS. Very lucky, I found a 1999 LS400 (UCF20), first owner with only 126K KM (76K mile). Very clean, and it feels so smoothy when driving it.
I have very high requirement on the audio system of a car, and it is one reason why I chose LS500, the 23-speaker Mark Levinson system is probably the best car sound system in the world.
Surprisingly, the Nakamichi sound system from LS400 is almost as good as Mark Levinson, especially when listening human sound or classics. Really hard to believe such a nice sound is from a car which was sold over 20 years ago. I would say, by spending coupe of grands to get this LS400, even just for the sound system, it worth.
