LS500 Reliability

LS500 Reliability
I drove a LS430 UL for twelve years (I bought it when it was 4 years old with 24,500 miles CPO). I loved the car, and other than the air suspension failing, it had no other issues. I converted the suspension, and it's a pity that the air suspension hadn't failed sooner.
I have been driving a Porsche Cayenne Diesel CPO for the past three years . It has been trouble free, and there are a lot fo them with high miles and no issues. That said, there is a guy that has been wanting to buy mine....he will pay me what I paid for it three years ago. There aren't many diesel Cayennes out there, and if you want the diesel, that's all you want (that was me). If I do decide to sell it to him, I was thinking about a LS500. How is the reliability? I like to keep a car until I am tired of it.
Thanks

I have a 2018 with AWD w/ air suspension. Bought it with 23k miles. I would suggest you search through the list of TSBs published & ensure the car exhibits non if those symptoms. Personally, utilized the tsb to fix car shaking on start and R to D transmission issues (still present). The ride is very quiet but not as soft as my previous LS 460. I would advise you get rid of the RFT at your earliest convenience. It's a new platform and new engine. Hoping to take mine @ least 200k miles unless it becomes a money pit.
