Remote start 2018 LS 500 F sport
Hello,
Good morning club members. Does anyone know how to remote start this vehicle? I don’t see any specific instructions anywhere. And the fob has no symbol for it either.

Press the lock button 3 times. On the 3rd press, hold lock button until 4 way flashers on your car flash 3 times and your car will start. That's if you're in close range.

All 2018 (except GX 460's) and all 2019 Lexus have the key fob remote using the 3 press and hold cadence that Javo26 described
for 120 months, 10 years. The phone Lexus App, Black icon w/ Silver Lexus Arrowhead Logo was complimentary for 12 months.
If you want to subscribe just press the overhead "SOS" Button. The voice in the car will ask if this is an emergency, No. She will
then ask if you want Roadside Assistance or Enrollment, Enrollment. You can set up to have the Lexus App, Remote Start, car finder,
guest driver monitor and various vehicle health functions for $80/year. Optional is to have a Live operator Destination Assist service
for an additional $80/yr. You don't need both for the RS.
Note: starting in 2020 the Fob Start, Phone App, Destination Assist and more have a trial period of 36 months rather than 120 & 12.
Subscribing for the fob is required along with the phone App starting month 37. The basic Safety Connect is $80/yr. and is required
to connect the phone App/fob RS for an additional $80/yr. = $160/yr. starting year #4. (Used to be $249/yr. for 2015 - 2017's but those
are being "sunset" and won't work after Halloween 2022 for any price...)

I was about to sign up for it for the $80/yr, but the "Connected Services Master Data Consent" agreement spooked me that they can track our location, driving and vehicle health information on a continuous basis and it's sent to Lexus and its affiliates.
Just reluctant of anyone using/having my data.
For those that have it, is the app good? and have you ever been contacted based on your data?
Thanks

Is anyone using the Remote Start Function with this app?

Tracking incase of theft. Choice is owners. I keep mine on.
Im not doing anything illegal or cheating on my wife.
Tyrannical gov't would find me boring. If Im of interest to them, my cell phone is a better tracking device.
If I beat that the Bill Gates Covid Vaccine with those nano tracking particles will for sure get me.
Im more worried about those who desire my catalytic converters and other goodies on my car.
