My car's headlight were HID and the after market headlight which i bought was a Halogen type , so i decided to replace the lens and the chrome reflector from the after market headlight to my OEM headlight.
How i did that ?! check below.
Tools needed:
1- China after market Halogen headlight (cost me 93 $ for single headlight).
2- Oven or hair dryer ( i have used a hair dryer).
3- Flat head screwdriver

Now clear bra them and it will never get like that again as you can keep replacing the film every few years.
My OEM chrome is is great shape inside the lens so i am not sure you had to replace it . I did find the new stanley headlights are built cheaper than the original ones from 98 .
The chromming is not as well done on the new oem parts .

After market LENS/Chrome reflector
The after market Chrome reflector is more brighter +Whiter than OEM chrome reflector, This is what makes the headlight much better looking.
